Dr. Devin E. Naar is an associate professor of Jewish studies and history and founder and chair of the Sephardic Studies Program at the University of Washington in Seattle. His first book, "Jewish Salonica: Between the Ottoman Empire and Modern Greece," won a National Jewish Book Award. He is a proud 4th generation Sephardic Brotherhood member.
