Sedat Behar is the President of the Sephardic Jewish Brotherhood of America, the national umbrella organization for the Ladino-speaking Sephardic Community in the United States. He was born and raised in the Jewish Community of Istanbul, where he trained in school as a Hazzan. Professionally, Sedat is a senior manager at Google in NYC, and received his bachelors and masters in computer science from Brandeis University. He lives in Tenafly, NJ with his wife Basak and two children.
