Etz Chaim Sephardic Congregation continues to support all of our members during the Covid Pandemic, with Daily morning services as well as Shabbat. We have practiced safety throughout the pandemic, and continue to keep our membership safe as well as active. Many of our Social Activities have been tabled until next year, however our spirit is strong and we continue to thrive.
Our own Deborah Sisterhood has stepped up with a reduced Oneg Shabbat, which our members enjoy (and missed while it was not available), as well as delicious Sephardic baking for their Annual Bake Sale. We were one of the few local synagogues that didn’t have Zoom Services in Indianapolis, and maintained our presence with Services from our membership. Our website (www.etzchaimindy.org) got a major upgrade this year, and we continue to add content for everyone to enjoy. Our affiliation with the Sephardic Brotherhood is one which we continue to support and our membership enjoys. We hope to attend the National Sephardic Community Gala in December, and look forward to seeing everyone from our sister communities throughout the country.
