Aaron Shapiro is a native of Maryland and spent much of his early life traveling and working in Spanish-speaking countries, including Mexico, Chile, and Spain. As a native modern-Spanish speaker, Aaron became fascinated with Ladino and taught himself the language during the pandemic. He lives in NYC and is proud to be an active educator in the Sepharidc community.
